Die evangelische Stadtkirche St. Trinitatis in Genthin wurde um 1720 erbaut, der markante Turm wurde erst 1772 fertiggestellt. Das Waschmittelwerk, ursprünglich zu Henkel gehörend, ist seit Jahrzehnten der wichtigste Arbeitgeber in der Stadt. Daran erinnert die historisierende Persil-Uhr am Markt. - The Protestant town church St. Trinity in Genthin in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany was built about the year 1720. The Baroque steeple became 1772 completed. The detergent factory is the most important employer in the town for decades. The nostalgic Persil-watch on the market place reminds of this fact.
