Waverley Station, der Hauptbahnhof von Edinburgh, wurde nach dem Roman von Sir Walter Scott benannt. Die Gegend um den Bahnhof ist attraktiv und lebendig. Direkt am Bahnhof befindet sich das Balmoral Hotel, das ehemalige North British Station Hotel. Es ist ein prächtiger viktorianischer Bau, beeinflußt vom Schottischen Barioniestil.- Waverley Station, the Main station of Edinburgh, was named after the Waverley Novels by Sir Walter Scott. The area around the train station is very attractive and full of life. The five star Balmoral Hotel, the former North British Station Hotel, is located directly at the train station. It is a magnificent Victorian-style building, influenced by the traditional Scottish Baronial style.
