| Der älteste und bekannteste Urlaubsort Puerto del Carmen liegt im Südosten der Kanarischen Insel Lanzarote. Noch in den 60er Jahren des vorigen Jahrhunderts nannte sich der damalige Fischerort La Tinosa, was auf deutsch "dreckiger Strand" bedeutet.
